Add the plate map file

Add one or more MS data files.

In the Plate map section of the Add Plate dialog, add a plate map file. Plate map files are in CSV format and specifies the locations of samples. MS file name, Sample ID, and Plate ID are required

1. If you don’t have a plate map file, create one with the plate map file template offered in PAS.

   1. To download the template, select the on-screen link in PAS.

   2. Open the template and edit it as needed.

      The MS file name, Sample ID, and Plate ID columns are required. (See Plate map file format for detailed descriptions of the columns in the file.)

   3. Save as a .csv file.

2. Select Add File or Add to open the Add Files dialog.

3. Drag the file(s) into the drag-and-drop area or use Browse to navigate to and select it.

4. Select Add.

5. Select Next to advance.

Specify plate information.
