Add a new association between a sample and one or more VCF files

Follow these steps on the VCF Files page to add a new association between a sample and one or more VCF files.

1. On the sidebar menu, expand  Data Files and select VCF Files to open the VCF Files page.

2. Select Add Sample VCF on the toolbar to open the Add Sample VCF dialog.

3. Complete the fields.

   1. From the Space list, select the Space where the samples you want to work with are located.

   2. In the Sample list, select the sample. (Use the Search field to quickly find the one you want.)

      The same sample name can be used in different Spaces, so be sure to select the right sample.

   3. Select Browse to open the Upload VCF File(s) dialog.

   4. Drag the file or folder into the drag-and-drop area or use Browse to navigate to and select it.

   5. Select Upload.

   6. Select Add.

   7. If you associated multiple VCF files with the sample, select the checkbox of one to serve as the primary VCF file.
