Add plate map files

Review the MS data files to be linked to plates.

In the Plate map section of the Link to Plate dialog, add the plate map files for up to 10 plates. Each plate map file specifies the locations of samples in its corresponding plate.

1. If you don’t have a plate map file, create one with the plate map file template offered in PAS.

   1. To download the template, select the on-screen link in PAS.

   2. Open the template and edit it as needed.

      The MS file name, Sample ID, and Plate ID columns are required. (See Plate map file format for detailed descriptions of the columns in the file.)

   3. Save as a .csv file.

2. Select Add File or Add to open the Add Files dialog.

3. Drag the file(s) into the drag-and-drop area or use Browse to navigate to and select it.

4. Select Add.

5. Select Next to advance.
