Copy or configure an analysis protocol

Follow these steps on the Analysis protocols page to copy an analysis protocol.

You may copy both custom (user-defined) and Seer protocols.

1. On the sidebar menu, select  Analysis Protocol.

2. On the Seer Protocols tab — select Configure on a protocol card.

   OR

   On the Your Protocols tab — on the row of the protocol you want to copy, select … to open the row menu and then select Copy.

   OR

   On the Your Protocols tab — select a protocol and then select Copy at the bottom of the Analysis Protocol Details pane.

   Be sure to copy a protocol of the correct type (e.g., DDA) because you cannot later change the analysis type in the copied protocol.

3. In the Configure Protocol dialog, edit fields for the new protocol.

   The search engine parameter fields vary, depending on which search engine is being used.

4. Select Save.
